About Me
Marriage and family have been the toughest & most rewarding project I have ever undertaken!
We decided very early on to focus on solutions and not constraints (or problems). This focus on solutions was ingrained in very early. Growing up in Africa the TV at home would overheat and the picture would start to roll, so we could not watch the one National TV channel available much to the frustration and chagrin of the entire family. One day I decided to place a frozen pack of milk on the TV and that instantly solved the constraint.
While the rest of the family was excited about what my brother-in-law called the “Vusa Cooling System”, for me it was a lesson that there are always solutions for just about everything. (if you think that’s an overstatement imagine trying to explain to someone who lived 100 years ago that you are reading a BIO of someone you may have never met, and yet can speak to them and see their face even though they live a day or more away).
For me there were two Lessons: 1- There is always a solution
2- Always use the Systems Approach
I was sold. First and only child in the family to finish high school first try.
Employed as a general laborer and within a year admitted for a 4 year management training program with the largest privately owned company in Africa.
Ran a steel manufacturing plant with over 400 employees and producing 4 tons of production per day by age 19.
Increased production to 8 tons average per day and peaked at 13 tons in one day while reducing the labor to 197.
Moved to Quebec. Unable to speak French became electrician and was top student both in Quebec and at Keyano College in Alberta.
Created a light maintenance and industrial cleaning company in Alberta
Perplexed by the financial system sought to understand it. Migrated to Financial Solutions in Alberta and continue to provide solutions to individuals & corporations alike.
Now we help others find solutions to their financial constraints
